Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 1-4 of the general statutes be amended to designate as a 1 legal holiday the Tuesday after the first Monday in November. 2 Statement of Purpose: To designate as a legal holiday the day in November on which a state or municipal election is held.
