AN ACT CONCERNING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A MEDICAID
PUBLIC OPTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Office of Health Strategy, in consultation with the Insurance 2
Commissioner and the Commissioner of Social Services, to develop a 3
plan to implement an affordable health insurance option for persons 4
ineligible for Medicaid. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Office of Health Strategy to develop a Medicaid Public
Option plan.
