AN ACT CONCERNING STATE EMPLOYEE PENSION COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require all state employees 1
and officials hired on and after June 30, 2019, to participate in a defined 2
contribution retirement plan rather than the current defined benefit 3
system. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To address state employee pension costs.
