AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PREFERENCE FOR SUPPLIER DIVERSITY
PROGRAM BUSINESSES IN AWARDING STATE CONTRACTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 31-52 and 31-52a of the general statutes be amended to 1
establish a preference in awarding state contracts to businesses 2
participating in the supplier diversity program whose bids are within 3
fifteen per cent of a national competitor. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish preferences in awarding state contracts to businesses
participating in the supplier diversity program.
