AN ACT INCREASING THE ANNUAL FEE FOR AN ELECTRONIC NICOTINE DELIVERY SYSTEM CERTIFICATE OF DEALER REGISTRATION. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That subsection (c) of section 21a-415 of the general statutes be 1 amended to (1) increase the annual fee for an electronic nicotine 2 delivery system certificate of dealer registration from four hundred 3 dollars to one thousand dollars, and (2) require such fee to be used to 4 reduce tobacco abuse through prevention, education, cessation, 5 treatment, enforcement and health needs programs. 6 Statement of Purpose: To increase the fee for an electronic nicotine delivery system certificate of dealer registration and to use such fee for the reduction of tobacco abuse.
