AN ACT CONCERNING LATE SUBMISSION OF CLAIMS FOR
LOTTERY PRIZES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that if any person 1
presents a winning lottery ticket after the deadline for a lottery game 2
expires, such person may file a claim for the prize and upon such filing 3
the Connecticut Lottery Corporation shall award such prize. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow a person who submits a late claim for a lottery prize to
receive the amount of the prize under certain conditions.
