AN ACT CONCERNING THE DISPLAY OF NUMBER PLATES AT THE
FRONT OF CERTAIN MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subdivision (2) of subsection (a) of section 14-18 of the general 1
statutes be amended to exempt a motor vehicle that was manufactured 2
without a designated place and mounting hardware for a number 3
plate on the front of the vehicle from the requirement that the vehicle 4
display two number plates. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt motor vehicles without a designated place and mounting
hardware for a number plate on the front of the vehicle from the
requirement that the vehicle display two number plates.
