1818 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR EMPLOYERS THAT
1919 PROVIDE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND JOB TRAINING.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to establish a tax 1
2424 credit program modeled after the federal Investing in American 2
2525 Workers Act, which provides a tax credit for employers who increase 3
2626 their spending on training for low income workers. 4
2727 Statement of Purpose:
2828 To encourage businesses to invest in job training to help close the skills
2929 gap and prepare workers for unfilled jobs in Connecticut.
