AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE 
INSTALLATION OF SAFETY MEASURES FOR PEDESTRIANS AND 
MOTORISTS IN WATERTOWN. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1 
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2 
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3 
____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4 
Transportation for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the town 5 
of Watertown for the installation of various safety measures to 6 
improve safety for pedestrians and motorists. 7 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide funding to the town of Watertown for the installation of 
various safety measures as recommended in the town's most recent 
Road Safety Audit and to increase safety for pedestrians and motorists.
