| 24 | 24 | statutory standards for reasonable noncompete agreements, including 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | (1) that the agreement be written, signed by the employer and 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | employee and state that the employee has a right to consult with 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | counsel prior to signing, (2) that the employer provide notice of the 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | agreement to the employee, (3) that an employer who requires an 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | employee to sign a noncompete agreement prior to beginning 7 | |
| 30 | 30 | employment provide a copy of the agreement to the employee either 8 | |
| 31 | 31 | before making a formal offer or ten days prior to the start of 9 | |
| 32 | 32 | employment, whichever comes first, (4) that an employer who requires 10 | |
