AN ACT ALLOWING MUNICIPALITIES TO IMPOSE A SERVICE
CHARGE ON NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL
SERVICES PROVIDED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to 1
impose a service charge on nonprofit organizations located in the 2
municipality for municipal services provided to such organizations. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities to impose a service charge on nonprofit
organizations located in the municipality for municipal services
provided to such organizations.
