AN ACT PROMOTING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR
INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to expand programs to help 1
individuals with disabilities gain better access to job opportunities, 2
including, but not limited to, providing: (1) Better workforce training 3
opportunities, (2) incentives to private sector companies that hire 4
individuals with disabilities, and (3) more pathways to employment in 5
state government. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To improve employment opportunities for individuals with
disabilities.
