AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH PROFESSIONALS TO INFORM BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSONS OF RESOURCES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 20 of the general statutes be amended to require 1 physicians, physician assistants and advanced practice registered 2 nurses offering primary care to patients to inform patients who are 3 blind or visually impaired of resources available to assist them, 4 including state assistance, technology and support groups. 5 Statement of Purpose: To require health professionals to provide blind and visually impaired patients with information on resources available.
