AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF CERTAIN
HEALTH CARE INFORMATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow an opt out from 1
information relating to sensitive health care procedures from being 2
sent to insurance policy holders on an explanation of benefits. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the confidentiality of sensitive health care information.
