AN ACT CONCERNING VETERANS' PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to allow any person 1
who is a veteran, as defined in section 27-103 of the general statutes, to 2
exempt from his or her local property taxes an amount in proportion to 3
such veteran's disability rating by the United States Department of 4
Veterans Affairs. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow veterans to exempt from their local property taxes an amount
in proportion to their disability rating.
