AN ACT ELIMINATING PENSIONS FOR LEGISLATORS WHOSE
BENEFITS HAVE NOT VESTED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that no legislator 1
shall be eligible to receive retirement benefits for legislative service 2
unless such benefits vest on or before June 30, 2019. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate pensions for legislators.
