20	19		AN ACT CONCERNING ME MBERSHIP OF THE CONNECTICUT STAT E
21	20		BOARD OF EXAMINERS F OR PHYSICAL THERAPIS TS.
22	21		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
23	22		Assembly convened:

25	24		Section 1. Section 20-67 of the general statutes is repealed and the 1
26	25		following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2019): 2
27	26		The Connecticut State Board of Examiners for Physical Therapists 3
28	27		shall consist of [one physician, two] three physical therapists and two 4
29	28		public members, appointed by the Governor, subject to the provisions 5
30	29		of section 4-9a. The Governor may appoint the physical therapist 6
31	30		members of said board from a list of [two] three names submitted by 7
32	31		the Connecticut chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. 8
33	32		[and may appoint the physician member from a name submitted by 9
34	33		the Connecticut State Medical Society.] Vacancies in said board shall be 10
35	34		filled by the Governor for the unexpired portion of the term. All 11
36	35		appointments shall be subject to the provisions of section 4-10. No 12
37	36		member shall serve more than two consecutive full terms, commencing 13
