1216 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1317 Assembly convened:

15-Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2019) Not later than forty-five
16-days before the scheduled release of an inmate from the custody of the
17-Commissioner of Correction, including release subject to parole or
18-supervised community setting, the commissioner shall provide each
19-inmate who identifies himself or herself as suffering from opioid use
20-disorder or relapsing into an opioid use disorder, information
21-regarding opioid use disorder treatment options, including
22-information on how to access such options after being released into the
23-community.
24-Sec. 2. Sections 18-10a, 18-14a and 18-81s of the general statutes are
25-repealed. (Effective from passage)
