27 | 26 | | Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) The Board of Regents for Higher 1 |

28 | 27 | | Education shall conduct a study relating to student access to academic 2 |
---|
29 | 28 | | advisors at institutions within the Connecticut State Colleges and 3 |
---|
30 | 29 | | Universities. The study shall include the ratio of academic advisors to 4 |
---|
31 | 30 | | students at each institution. Not later than January 1, 2020, the board 5 |
---|
32 | 31 | | shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the 6 |
---|
33 | 32 | | general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General 7 |
---|
34 | 33 | | Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education 8 |
---|
35 | 34 | | regarding the findings of such study. 9 |
---|
36 | 35 | | This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following |
