2120 AN ACT CONCERNING ST UDENT ACCESS TO ACADEMIC

2423 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2524 Assembly convened:

2726 Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) The Board of Regents for Higher 1
2827 Education shall conduct a study relating to student access to academic 2
2928 advisors at institutions within the Connecticut State Colleges and 3
3029 Universities. The study shall include the ratio of academic advisors to 4
3130 students at each institution. Not later than January 1, 2020, the board 5
3231 shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the 6
3332 general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General 7
3433 Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education 8
3534 regarding the findings of such study. 9
3635 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
