2021 AN ACT CONCERNING TE CHNICAL CHANGES TO A MOTOR

2223 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2324 Assembly convened:

2526 Section 1. Subsection (b) of section 14-279b of the general statutes is 1
2627 repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from 2
2728 passage): 3
2829 (b) As provided in subsection (b) of section 14-107, proof of the 4
2930 registration number of the motor vehicle therein concerned shall be 5
3031 prima facie evidence that the owner was the operator thereof, except 6
3132 that, in the case of a leased or rented motor vehicle, such proof shall be 7
3233 prima facie evidence that the lessee was the operator thereof. A 8
3334 photographic or digital still or video image that clearly shows the 9
3435 license plate number of a vehicle violating section 14-279 shall be 10
3536 sufficient proof of the [identify] identity of such vehicle for purposes of 11
