9		-	AN ACT CONCERNING TH E RENEWAL OF CERTAIN
10		-	TEMPORARY NOTES ISSU ED BY THE TOWN OF WO ODBRIDGE.
	21	+	AN ACT VALIDATING THE DECEMBER 11, 2018, REFERENDUM IN
	22	+	THE TOWN OF GROTON.
11	23		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
12	24		Assembly convened:

14		-	Section 1. (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any special act,
15		-	municipal charter or ordinance or the renewal period set forth in
16		-	section 7-378a of the general statutes, the town of Woodbridge is
17		-	authorized to renew, for a period of not more than fifteen years from
18		-	the date of the original issue, any temporary notes that were issued by
19		-	said town to finance the acquisition of Woodbridge Country Club and
20		-	which were outstanding on January 1, 2019. All other provisions of
21		-	section 7-378a of the general statutes shall apply to the renewal
22		-	authorized under this section.
	26	+	Section 1. (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any provision of 1
	27	+	the general statutes or any special act, charter or ordinance, the vote 2
	28	+	cast by the electors and voters of the town of Groton at the referendum 3
	29	+	held on December 11, 2018, relating to approval of an appropriation 4
	30	+	for the design and construction of the Groton 2020 Plan and the 5
	31	+	authorization of the issuance of bonds to finance said appropriation, 6
	32	+	otherwise valid except for the failure to timely publish notice of said 7
	33	+	referendum, is validated. All acts, votes and proceedings of the 8
	34	+	officers, officials and representatives of the town of Groton pertaining 9
	35	+	to or taken in reliance on said referendum, otherwise valid except for 10
	36	+	the failure to timely publish notice of said referendum, are validated 11
	37	+	and effective as of the date taken. 12
	38	+	This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
	39	+	sections:
