21	20		AN ACT CONCERNING TH E CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN PARCELS
22	21		OF STATE LAND IN THE BOROUGH OF NAUGATUCK .
23	22		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
24	23		Assembly convened:

26	25		Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) Notwithstanding any provision 1
27	26		of the general statutes, the Commissioner of Transportation shall 2
28	27		convey to the borough of Naugatuck two parcels of land located in the 3
29	28		borough of Naugatuck, at a cost equal to the fair market value of the 4
30	29		properties, as determined by the average of the appraisals of two 5
31	30		independent appraisers selected by the commissioner, plus the 6
32	31		administrative costs of making such conveyance. The first parcel of 7
33	32		land has an area of approximately 2.888 acres and is identified as 8
34	33		"Lease Area = 2.888± Acres" on a map entitled "Town of Naugatuck, 9
35	34		Sketch Showing Land Leased to SWR, LLC by the State of Connecticut, 10
36	35		Valuation Map 57-71-22, scale 1" - 100', June 1988, Bureau of Public 11
37	36		Transportation - Office of Rail Operations", drawn on June 27, 1988, 12
38	37		and last revised on December 16, 2003. The second parcel of land has 13
39		-	an area of approximately .654 acre ~~and~~ is identified as "Lease Area = 14
40		-	~~0.654±~~ Acre" on a map entitled "Town of Naugatuck, Sketch Showing 15 Raised Bill No. 7419

50	48		The conveyance shall be subject to the approval of the State Properties 19
51	49		Review Board. 20
52	50		(b) The State Properties Review Board shall complete its review of 21
53	51		the conveyance of said parcels of land not later than thirty days after it 22
54	52		receives a proposed agreement from the Department of 23
55	53		Transportation. The land shall remain under the care and control of 24
56	54		said department until a conveyance is made in accordance with the 25
57	55		provisions of this section. The State Treasurer shall execute and deliver 26
58	56		any deed or instrument necessary for a conveyance under this section. 27
59	57		The Commissioner of Transportation shall have the sole responsibility 28
60	58		for all other incidents of such conveyance. 29
