| 26 | 25 | Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) Notwithstanding any provision 1 | |
| 27 | 26 | of the general statutes, on or before July 1, 2019, the Commissioner of 2 | |
| 28 | 27 | Transportation shall solicit competitive bids to sell a parcel of land 3 | |
| 29 | 28 | located in the town of Berlin. Said parcel of land is .045 acre and is 4 | |
| 30 | 29 | identified as the parcel of land adjacent to the Kensington 5 | |
| 31 | 30 | Congregational Church located at 312 Percival Avenue in the town of 6 | |
| 32 | 31 | Berlin, and is further identified as the parcel described in Department 7 | |
| 33 | 32 | of Transportation File No. 7-000-65. Notwithstanding any provision of 8 | |
| 34 | 33 | the general statutes, the Department of Transportation shall use an 9 | |
| 35 | 34 | expedited process to sell said parcel to the highest bidder and said sale 10 | |
| 36 | 35 | shall not be subject to the approval of the State Properties Review 11 | |
