RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL 
AMENDMENT CONCERNING TERM LIMITS FOR LEGISLATORS AND 
CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICERS. 
Resolved by this Assembly: 
 
That section 10 of article third of the Constitution of the state be 1 
amended to provide that no senator or representative shall serve more 2 
than four terms in such office and that section 2 of article fourth of the 3 
Constitution of the state be amended to provide that no constitutional 4 
officer shall serve more than four terms in such office, provided such 5 
provisions shall not be construed to prohibit a senator, representative 6 
or officer from being elected to a different office after serving such four 7 
terms. 8 
Statement of Purpose:   
To establish term limits for legislators and constitutional officers.
