RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE STATE 
CONSTITUTION TO PERMIT NO -EXCUSE ABSENTEE VOTING. 
Resolved by this Assembly: 
 
That article sixth of the Constitution of the state be amended to 1 
allow any qualified elector to cast an absentee ballot without needing 2 
to satisfy a specific reason enumerated by law, rather than have to 3 
appear at a polling place on the day of an election. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To eliminate the requirement that an elector satisfy a particular reason 
specified by law in order to cast an absentee ballot.
