RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL
AMENDMENT PROHIBITING THE DIVERSION OF FUNDS FOR
ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CLEAN ENERGY PROGRAMS TO THE
GENERAL FUND.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That article third of the Constitution of the state be amended to add 1
a provision prohibiting the General Assembly from diverting funds 2
intended for energy efficiency and clean energy programs to the 3
General Fund. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the diversion of funds for energy efficiency and clean
energy programs to the General Fund.
