RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE STATE
CONSTITUTION TO PERMIT NO -EXCUSE ABSENTEE VOTING.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That the Constitution of the state be amended to allow any qualified 1
elector to cast an absentee ballot without needing to satisfy a specific 2
reason enumerated by law, rather than be required to appear at a 3
polling place on the day of an election. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the requirement that an elector satisfy a particular reason
specified by law in order to cast an absentee ballot.
