RESOLUTION PETITIONING CONGRESS TO CONVENE AN ARTICLE
V CONVENTION TO REPEAL THE SEVENTEENTH AMENDMENT.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That the General Assembly apply to the United States Congress to 1
call a convention for the limited purpose of proposing an amendment 2
to the United States Constitution to repeal the seventeenth amendment 3
to the United States Constitution. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To restore representation of the states in the United States Congress by
restoring the election of senators by state legislatures.
