RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL 
AMENDMENT TO AUTOMATICALLY ADMIT EIGHTEEN -YEAR-OLD 
STATE RESIDENTS AS ELECTORS. 
Resolved by this Assembly: 
 
That article sixth of the Constitution of the state be amended to 1 
automatically admit as an elector, without any requirement to apply 2 
for such admission, any citizen of the United States who has attained 3 
the age of eighteen years and who is a bona fide resident of any town 4 
in the state. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To automatically register eighteen-year-old state residents to vote 
without requiring they apply for such registration.
