AN ACT PROHIBITING THE IMPORT, SALE AND POSSESSION OF
AFRICAN ELEPHANTS, LIONS, LEOPARDS, BLACK RHINOCEROS,
WHITE RHINOCEROS AND GIRAFFES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the import, sale 1
and possession of the big six African species which consist of African 2
elephants, lions, leopards, black rhinoceros, white rhinoceros and 3
giraffes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the import and trade of the big six African species.
