20	20		AN ACT CONCERNING HE ALTH INSURANCE COVER AGE OF
21	21		ORALLY AND INTRAVENO USLY ADMINISTERED PR ESCRIPTION
22	22		DRUGS.
23	23		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
24	24		Assembly convened:

26	26		Section 1. (NEW) (Effective January 1, 2020) Each individual health 1
27	27		insurance policy providing coverage of the type specified in 2
28	28		subdivisions (1), (2), (4), (11), (12) and (16) of section 38a-469 of the 3
29	29		general statutes delivered, issued for delivery, renewed, amended or 4
30	30		continued in this state on or after January 1, 2020, providing coverage 5
31	31		for prescription drugs shall provide coverage for orally administered 6
32	32		prescription drugs on a basis that is no less favorable than the basis on 7
33	33		which such policy provides coverage for intravenously administered 8
34	34		prescription drugs. 9
35	35		Sec. 2. (NEW) (Effective January 1, 2020) Each group health insurance 10
36	36		policy providing coverage of the type specified in subdivisions (1), (2), 11
37	37		(4), (11), (12) and (16) of section 38a-469 of the general statutes 12
38	38		delivered, issued for delivery, renewed, amended or continued in this 13
39	39		state on or after January 1, 2020, providing coverage for prescription 14
