AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE OF
PRESCRIBED DRUGS DURING ADVERSE DETERMINATION
REVIEWS AND EXTERNAL REVIEW PROCESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 38a-591d, 38a-591e, 38a-591f and 38a-591g of the 1
general statutes be amended to require health insurance coverage of 2
prescribed drugs during adverse determination reviews and external 3
review processes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require health insurance coverage of prescribed drugs during
adverse determination reviews and external review processes.
