AN ACT PROHIBITING HOSPITALS FROM CHARGING FEES FOR
TRAUMA ACTIVATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a hospital from 1
charging a fee for a trauma activation, which involves paging a 2
number of hospital staff to report to the emergency department as 3
quickly as possible. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To decrease the cost of health care.
