AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRESENTATION OF A CARRY PERMIT
UPON REQUEST.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 29-35 of the general statutes be 1
amended to require an individual to present a permit to carry a pistol 2
or revolver to a law enforcement officer who requests to view the 3
permit after observing the person with the pistol or revolver. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require individuals who openly carry a pistol or revolver to
produce their permit upon request of a law enforcement officer if the
firearm is visible to such officer.
