1818 AN ACT CONCERNING THE RECALCULATION OR CAPPING OF
1919 CERTAIN STATE EMPLOYEE PENSIONS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to enact pension reform by 1
2424 either (1) requiring the recalculation of all pensions above one hundred 2
2525 thousand dollars per year based on the employee's salary over the final 3
2626 five years of employment, excluding any payments for overtime, or (2) 4
2727 capping state employee pensions at one hundred twenty thousand 5
2828 dollars per year. 6
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To lower state employee retirement costs by capping or recalculating
3131 certain high-cost pensions.
