AN ACT ESTABLISHING A BUY CONNECTICUT PROGRAM FOR
DEFENSE CONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to establish a Buy 1
Connecticut program that provides sales tax exemptions and research 2
and development tax credits to encourage defense contractors to 3
utilize the services of in-state subcontractors and businesses. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To create incentives for defense contractors to utilize the services of in-
state subcontractors and businesses.
