AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY
PERSONNEL FROM DELINQUENT TAX PENALTIES AND INTEREST.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to exempt members 1
of the armed forces from delinquent tax penalties and interest while 2
such members are on active duty outside the United States. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate certain hardships faced by members of the armed forces
on active duty.
