AN ACT DESIGNATING CONNECTICUT OLDER HORSE WEEK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-29a of the general statutes be amended to designate 1
the fourth week in May of each year as Connecticut Older Horse Week. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To spread awareness of the active roles that horses play in farming,
sports and entertainment and to show recognition for the retired
horses of Connecticut.
