AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID COVERAGE FOR STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Social Services to apply for a waiver under Section 2
1115 of the Social Security Act for a research and demonstration project 3
in which health coverage for eligible students is covered under 4
Medicaid. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce health care costs for Medicaid-eligible students.
