AN ACT CONCERNING EXPANDED ACCESS TO RECORDS MAINTAINED BY THE ASSOCIATION OF A COMMON INTEREST COMMUNITY. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapters 825 and 828 of the general statutes be amended to 1 permit any unit owner or a unit owner's authorized agent to access 2 records of an association of unit owners concerning (1) the salary of 3 any employee of an association of unit owners, and (2) sums paid to 4 vendors or contractors concerning goods or services rendered to an 5 association of unit owners. 6 Statement of Purpose: To provide a unit owner in a common interest community with expanded access to the association's records.
