2119 AN ACT CONCERNING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION EMPLOYEE

2321 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

26-Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2019) For the purposes of this 1
27-section, "nonprofit organization" means a nonstate entity that receives 2
28-funds from the state, and may receive federal or other funds, to 3
29-provide direct state services to state agency clients and "state fleet 4
30-vehicle" is described in section 4a-67d of the general statutes. On and 5
31-after October 1, 2019, any contract that the Commissioner of 6
32-Administrative Services enters into or renews with a nonprofit 7
33-organization to authorize the employees of such nonprofit 8
34-organization to use state fleet vehicles shall permit such employees to 9
35-use a state fleet vehicle in the course of their employment when 10
36-performing services that are not state services. 11
37-This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
38-sections:
