AN ACT CONCERNING THE APPROPRIATION OF MEDICAID FUNDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that both the state's 1
portion and the federal government's portion of Medicaid funding be 2
appropriated and included in the calculation of general budget 3
expenditures for purposes of determining the constitutional spending 4
cap. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require that Medicaid funds be "gross appropriated" and included
as general budget expenditures for the purpose of determining the
constitutional spending cap.
