1818 AN ACT CONCERNING THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR A
1919 TEMPORARY STATE PERMIT TO CARRY A PISTOL OR REVOLVER.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That section 29-28a of the general statutes be amended to require an 1
2424 applicant for a temporary state permit to carry a pistol or revolver to 2
2525 provide the issuing authority with (1) a completed and notarized 3
2626 application on the form prescribed by the Commissioner of Emergency 4
2727 Services and Public Protection, which form may not be modified or 5
2828 supplemented; (2) proof of lawful presence in the United States; (3) a 6
2929 certificate of completion for a course in pistol and revolver safety; and 7
3030 (4) two sets of fingerprints for purposes of the state and national 8
3131 criminal history records check required by section 29-29 of the general 9
3232 statutes. 10
