AN ACT INCREASING THE PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCE FOR
LONG-TERM CARE RESIDENTS WHO RECEIVE MEDICAL
ASSISTANCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 17b-106 and 17b-272 of the general statutes be 1
amended to increase the monthly personal needs allowance for long-2
term care facility residents who receive medical assistance from sixty 3
dollars to seventy-two dollars and seventy-five cents. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide sufficient funds for the personal needs of long-term care
facility residents.
