AN ACT CONCERNING STATE TOURISM FUNDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require organizations 1
applying for state tourism funds to provide evidence to the 2
Department of Economic and Community Development that the 3
requesting organization is actively engaged in and collaborating with 4
established regional entities that are focused on promoting and 5
supporting the arts, culture and tourism industry. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide opportunities for cost savings by minimizing duplication of
services.
