AN ACT CONCERNING TOURISM IN CONNECTICUT. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to allow for a percentage of 1 
the revenue generated by the sales tax on occupancy in a hotel or 2 
lodging house under chapter 219 of the general statutes to be used to 3 
promote tourism in Connecticut. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To allow for a percentage of the revenue generated by the sales tax on 
occupancy in a hotel or lodging house to be used to promote tourism 
in Connecticut.
