AN ACT CONCERNING THE REQUIREMENT FOR THE RETENTION
OF STUDENT TRANSCRIPTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to reduce to ten 1
years the requirement that a local or regional board of education 2
maintain a copy of a student's transcript. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide education mandate relief to municipalities.
