AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR TRAIN CARS
FOR USE WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NAUGATUCK VALLEY
RAILROAD HUB.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
eighty million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Transportation for the purpose of providing a grant-in-5
aid for the purchase of train cars for use with the development of the 6
Naugatuck Valley Railroad Hub. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for train cars for use with the development of the
Naugatuck Valley Railroad Hub.
