AN ACT CONCERNING THE DATE OF SUBMISSION FOR
CONSENSUS REVENUE ESTIMATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 2-36b and 2-36c of the general statutes be amended to 1
require the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management and the 2
director of the legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis to (1) issue the 3
consensus revenue estimate for the current biennium and the next 4
ensuing three fiscal years not later than October fifteenth of each year, 5
and (2) submit such estimate to the Appropriations and Finance 6
committees to meet on such estimate not later than October thirty-first 7
of each year. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To require earlier submission of consensus revenue estimates.
