AN ACT INCREASING FUNDING FOR AGING IN PLACE INITIATIVES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Social Services and the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the 2
Department of Rehabilitation Services, from the General Fund, for the 3
fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, for the purpose of expanding 4
programs allowing senior citizens to age in place in their homes or 5
communities. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To expand opportunities for senior citizens to remain independently in
their homes and communities and avoid state costs and costs to senior
citizens on institutionalization.
